Im a little slow in posting. we got to clearwater in the middle of a carp tournament. the ramps wasnt too bad tho as most the boats was already in the water waitin for the blast off, anyway, we went to the honey hole lookin for fish, then up to the mouth of colonesl creek, then up to june creek, beaver creek then on up to wateree creek then back to the dam and found nothing to get us excited. we drifted all them places with live bait and had no sucess. we did run into rockfishin at wateree creek who was on a bait hunt. the wind got up and was pretty tough. another bad forecast by the weatherman. we left the lake around 11 or so. no fish, had a couple bites and a pull or two. we dint get skunked as we did catch one white perch. on the way home i talked to rockfish and he was up in the river. he said he had six in the boat and some other fellers was catching some with cut bait. im sure he'll post what happened up that way. but as for me and thumper, we struck out.

    Default Decent Day

Cody and I had a rough time getting bait, but finally ended up with a few dozen in Wateree Creek. Since we were already there, we went up to the river where there were several boats cut baiting. I don't carry an anchor, so we put out the freelines and planer boards and pulled the banks. Caught 6 fish pretty quick then the bite pretty much quit. Left and ran back down the lake to one of my spots near Beaver Creek. Found a pretty good bunch of fish and finished our day pulling down rods. Left the lake around 6:00 with 2 limits and one bait left in the tank. Pretty good day, but very long.

    Default Cedar Creek

We were in the river, just below Cedar Creek dam. Never made it past the first island on the right.

Don't know. My kids are playing ball, which ties up most saturdays. I'll let you know.
