    Default Maiden Voyage today!

My first trip with the "new-to me" boat this morning and it was somewhat of a success.Thumbs Up Didnt have a clicker onboard (forgot that:rolleyes but I'm guessing I caught a limit of crappie between 8:30AM-12:30PM. It stayed overcast most of the morning and little to no winds. A great day on the water.

The boat I got came with a really old graph with about 50 buttons (a Lowrance black and white something-something 2000:rolleyes) and after getting it on the water I found that I was fishing practically blind so after getting home I stripped that one off my boat and put my 522C onboard so now maybe I can "see" where I'm fishing again.:p Also spent some time getting rod holders in position too. Anyway, nothing worthy of pictures today. Only had 5 keepers out of the bunch @ 10" to 11" each with everything else being skidders so they all went back in to grow some more. I gotta finish the registration next week and get the numbers on the boat and I promise I'll take a few pictures and get 'em up for you guys to see what I'm riding in. Anyway........glad today wasnt a skunk in my new-to-me boat.:o:p

Great to see you out there in your new ride, Butch! Every new toy requires some tinkering, but a pile o' fish on opening day is a great start. And having your own familiar electronics on board will pay big dividends on your next outing plus make it feel more like "your" boat too!

congrats on getting the new ride out, Butch. It won't take long and you'll have all the kinks out. And like Stump said some "pitchers" woulda been nice...........Ronnie, he's probably wanting to get it wrapped before he shows us the pix...Anybody wanna guess who his sponsor is?....
