i have seen them in wylie crappie, around 6 a year . if you don't look for them you won't notice them. the ones in wylie look like a red spot in the meat like a small blood spot 1/4-1/2" . you take your knife dig it out and it will uncoil to about a 1 1/2" long and about as round as thread have seen them 3" before but still really thin. i have seen them most time near surface or in between the ribs so you think it is a injury from being caught. never seen more than one or two per fish. you been eatin'em and didn't no it yuck:DDoh i will try to get you a pic soon
Quit worring about them worms, they won't eat much..

You will find parasites beneath the skin of a lot of fish in ponds in Okla. Nothing new around here . You can flick them out with the point of a knife . If you skin the fish .
Aint nothing but a little more meat anyways.:rolleyesRofl
Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in hospitals dying of nothing.
A lot of fish have parasites. Go to a sushi bar and watch the when they slice the fish. You will see them fling off the parasites.
No sushi for me either.
