Went to see dad and the doctor came in...He said dad was looking at a triple or quadruple bypass along with a mess of other stuff....He's also got a valve leaking and some other stuff going on...They said they might have to open up his heart and do some stuff but they won't know about that until they get in there....I'll let ya'll know how everything went tomorrow....Goin to see him at 6am before he goes to surgery....They said it was going to be a longgggg process.....Kim

I just met him for the first time in Walmart on Sunday. I know what you are going through. My dad had quadruple bypass done about five years ago. Will be keeping your family in my thoughts and prayers.

I talked to the old coot yesterday afternoon. His spirits are high and he was the same old Rango. He knows he has a rough row to hoe for the next month or two, but all he wanted to do was to get on the winter stripers in November. That's my boy! For those of you who don't know him personally, he's about the toughest old coot that I know. Here's praying that he comes through this with no problems and he'll be better than ever when he gets back on his feet.
