Default Of ALL the times to fish...

As some of you know I went to Florida on vacation with my buddy this past week. His family comes from some serious money, so we stayed in a 5 star Resort a quarter mile from Universal Orlando's Theme Park. There was a ferry that took you from the hotel to the park (as if you couldn't walk) in the little river/canal there. It ran every 20 minutes. (You could walk there in 5.) After the third day there I remembered that I had a little 6' Walmart telescopic pole in my suitcase and a reel with 8lb test and a little tackle box with everything a freshwater angler could ask for in it. That night I was out late with my buddy, Andrew, and we felt like taking the ferry. For the ten minutes we waited I looked into the water and was dang near drooling. Below me were about a hundred bream that were LITERALLY a foot long a piece and some Tilapia that were 2 foot long apiece. I was about to jump in the dang water. On the boat ride over I asked the captain about the fish. He turned out to be an avid angler as well, but because we were in a freaking 5 star resort that some rich guy did not want to look out his window and see some guy fishing in the river. He said it was not looked highly upon... Anyway I decided not to fish that whole week even though I had a slight chance I would not get caught... But Andrew's mother told me that she didn't want to get kicked out of the durn hotel because of it. Blah.

The ferries stop running at 2:30 AM and one night I was about to go out and try but I was just too tired...

I got to tell you, I would look like Rambo about to attack the VC.. There would be jigs, cranks, cricket cage, box of worms hanging from my belt. Doh:D:D.

Good you are having a great time and it's hard to see fish swimming around that size and not get to fish. Those fish wouldn't know how to bite a hook, them are sissy fish Rofl.

    Have fun and be safe.
