This should be the transducer you are looking for. When I bought the echmap93 plus (non UHD) on clearance this is the transducer that came with it. For awhile Garmin transducers, the CV series didn't have down imaging elements in them, instead the down imaging view was processed using part of the views from the side imaging elements. I think it had something to do with a lawsuit with Lowrance about a patent. When it was resolved Garmin was able to put down imagining elements in their 3 in 1 transducers. It appears Garmin discontinued the CV52 when the started making the GT52.

Link to Garmin what's in the box for your unit that comes with this GT52 transducer.

It list a "12-pin to dual 4-pin transducer adapter cable" if you don't have that adapter cable it will not plug directly into your unit. You would need the adapter cable which should be this cable.

    Hope that helps some.

Did some looking the CV52 is also a 12 pin transducer so you should already be using the adapter cable. Also found that the CV52 is supposed to have sidevu, don't know if maybe the transducer you have is bad or what is going on that you aren't getting side vu
