I am in the market for a
12v trolling motor with spot lock 45-48” shaft please let me know if you have what I am looking for
… will settle for 24v as long as not to large for 17 ft aluminum boat

If you have room for a second battery, go 24v. If you find no takers here, check with Bucks Island Marine in Southside.

I’ve stayed on a 24v 70lb MK motor for 7 hours straight without any power loss. It’s worth doing, in my opinion.

I believe you will be happier in the long run by going to the 24volt system. There are lots of ways to handle the extra battery issue. Just my two cents. Good luck to you!
