Default Looking for line counter reels

I want to try pushing cranks and before buying new, I thought I'd see if anyone has any line counter reels they want part with. I might be enticed into buying rods and reels. Thanks.

If you can't find used, try Northwoods Wholesale Outlet. I'm partial to Daiwa LC's,
but they carry Shakespeare ATS line counters at a very reasonable price.

Thanks, I've seen that they are the cheapest place to buy that I know about.

Which Diawas do you have? Would they hold up to catfishing? I'd like to get multiple uses out of these reels. I know I'd need different rods for catfish, but still....

Bought the ATS reels from them, so far so good.

I use Sealine 17''s for walleye and Accudepth 17''s for pulling cranks for
crappie. I doubt that either the Accudepth''s or the Shakespeare ATS''s
would hold up for cats! I also use Sealine 27''s and 47''s for salmon
fishing on Lk. Michigan, but have upgraded several of the Daiwa''s to
Shimano Tekota''s in Sz. 300, 500 and 700''s in line counter design. So I
hope this gives you an idea about what I use for the different kinds of
fishing I do. Oh yeah, and I do like Power Pro Braid line for trolling, with
fluorocarbon leaders for all types of fish.

I think I've got two diawa 27's put up in the garage. I used em for stripers. They're spooled with 17 lb test. If you're interested I'll find em and send a pic.

I thought I had sold all mine, but I found one more. I just checked, it’s a Daiwa 17LC.

    Interested?
