    Default A.R.E. Z Series Camper Shell/Cap

    A.R.E. Z-Series Camper Shell/Cap
    • Manufactured in 2006
    • Fits Chevrolet/GMC 1500 crew cab models with extra short bed (fits 2006 models but will probably fit all models with that body style and bed length)
    • Color is silver birch metallic
    • Rear hatch is one piece solid glass, locking, and comes with key
    • Screened side windows
    • Carpet lined interior

It is in overall good condition. The windows work as they should, do not leak that I am aware of, and the screens are intact. The rear hatch seals good, the lock works, and the lift struts work. The paint and clear coat look good. The carpet lining is also in good condition. The only real flaw is that the trim around the base is pulling away from the curved areas at the front corners of the shell. I am also not sure if the dome light works or not. I am going to wash it after work and will take pictures and post them and also list some measurements.

I am asking $500 and am located in North Alabama (about 45 minutes from Huntsville, Birmingham, and Decatur). Pick up only.

Sorry, I was not able to get around to taking pics or measurements this evening.

You mean the flat hard tonneau cover? Either way I would consider trading for that or a another shell like mine if it matched my truck's color which is the same as the shell I have for sale. The predicament I am in is that I got this shell from a friend who is a car dealer and owed me a favor and knew I was hunting one for my truck. Unfortunately he failed to notice it was for a crew cab where I have an extended. He still gave it to me as I told him I would just sell it and use the money to buy one that fit (even though right now I'm going to have to allocate the funds to new tires for my wife's car).

Open to trades of shell or tonneau covers of the same color. I would also be interested in trading for a running 9.9hp outboard, 14' to 16' aluminum jon boat, or aluminum canoe.
