Depending on where your at you guys most likely have White Crappie. Down here in FLA we have Black Crappie. White crappie grow longer than the Black Crappie. the Black Crappie is shorter and a lil bit thicker than the white crappie. Down here they have to be 10inches or better but most of these in the pic are 12in plus all caught veritcle jigging from the bank

So if you are vertical jigging from the bank. What length of rod do you use ?

24ft would be my guess.....2-12 footers taped together

We have both kinds of crappie here, the white crappie are more prominent in the big four lakes but we have plenty black crappie also.

Why do you think that? I don't see it that way, he does not say they are for sale....no mention of a price or contact info. I think he is just being friendly and wants to talk about fishing.
