Man oh man. It's unbelievable that it ran as long as it did. it looked like the pick-up screen was completely clogged in the beginning, and you got enough out to almost make another engine lol... lots of metal and silicone...
This Yamaha F100 died once, and was rebuilt. But it's first death certainly had a lingering effect.
Watch the video, I know it's long, but you'll get a chance to see a gewber get his hands dirty. Plus I need to up my "hours watched" on youtube to get monetized. Not a big deal, just something I'm playing with, hopefully it'll inspire me to do more fishing videos and such.
As of right now, the video is still being processed, might take a few to load. It says it's 99% done, yeah right!!!
The other theme to this video is, if you have a good mechanic, be sure to give them a Christmas present. They are worth their weight in gold. Cause the mechanic who worked on this Yamaha charged way too much money and left a whole bunch of garbage in it. This is why I do all my own work! I trust no-one to work on my stuff, if it's gonna break, it's gonna break because of me! lol

I am much the same way. I feel I will do a better job myself than I can get done somewhere. FIL used to give me flack about changing my own oil. ( I have mine changed by the professionals). Where exactly is the Oil Change University that these professionals come from?

I pieced together the broken bits and came up with this. I have no idea what part it might be that was made in the engine. It’s bigger than anything there and it’s got rotation marks that don’t make sense inside this motor. Any ideas. A thrust bearing is only a half bearing.
