    What ever part it used to be sure grenade'd to get all the metal fragments. Holy Cow!!!

    If I had to place it . I would say metal seal for a shielded roller bearing. That being said I do not believe that motor has such an animal in its original configuration. It is safe to say I also does not have bearings made by Ford

    Oh come on. It’s obviously the auxiliary throw out bearing. The internal regulator of the verneer effect. Sits just under the stalk of the infidibilium. You want some verneer effect don’t yah ?
