    Default New wheels and tires

My out of round tires have been replaced. Sitting for 8 years dry rotted the heck out of them and made for some big flat spots.

Here is a before pic. I hated these wheels. Not because of how they looked, but because they were a pain to install on the studs. You could not see through them to line up the holes with the studs. I tried every trick and it still took me ten minutes a tire to put on!

Here's the new rims and tires. Not really new but same era as my Jeep. I bought them used, and they are real clean. I like it. I was gonna plasti-dip them flat black, might still do that. What you think?

Isn't it funny, doggies posed same way in both pics! lol

Looks really good. I really like the stickers. The cdc logo, the sponsor logos all look really good. I personally think I prefer the wheels as they are instead of black. Photoshop it really quick and see what you think or I can tomorrow when at my computer. Black blends in and sort of disappears and you can’t see the curves or details as much.

The black is not going to show brake dust as bad as the silver will, but I doubt you'll allow brake dust collecting on the wheels anyway ... seeing as how this vehicle is "representin" (with all the logo bling attached).

I like the silver more than the black (or even a matching blue). And I definitely like the "new" wheels over the previous ones.

I like those as well. They look the same as what was on my 1998 Cherokee.

Here it is with black wheels. Rough but gives idea what it would possibly look like if that helps you decide.

Pretty cool how you did this Dave. I prefer silver over the black for sure now…
