I've decided to use this Eastwood Anti Rust. I got tired of waiting to address it. I chipped and steel brushed it, vacuumed and slapped this creepy stuff on. The stuff creeps and that's why I like it. It goes places I cant see or get to, to stop rust. The round holes will get caps as they are supposed to have, but any pin holes I'll treat with POR-15 at a later date. I just wanted to begin the "STOP THE RUST CANCER" process started. When I POR-15 it I can wire wheel clean off this Eastwood stuff and fix up holes in a more permanent fashion and then spray undercoating underneath to prevent water from entering. At least that's my goal.

I failed to mention, the Eastwood stuff is cool. It actually dries, kinda. It's not wet, but just a little tacky. The Fluid Film spray on stuff I've used in the past which is similar, creeps, and is lanolin based too, seems to stay wet, and that's one thing I was not liking if I were to use that stuff on the floor. I'll still use the Fluid film in the rockers and places I can's readily get to. The Fluid Film I got comes with a long tube to stick into holes, and sprays in 360 degrees. Like this:

At least you picked this fight, I like to pick mine too. It's enjoyable to see the progress moving along. I'm just catching up to read everything, I stay busier in retirement than when I worked.
