    Default 5) transaxle teardown

It'll be a bit till the transmission parts come in. I'm not continuing that teardown till I get those parts because I like to see what all I get for parts while I take the rest apart. That way I can kinda take it apart, and put it back together with new stuff at the same time. Easier to remember where stuff goes.

So, in the mean time, I'll take the transaxle apart and see what I need there. The previous owner took parts off it to trade with his old transaxle so that his connections to the transmission matched. So supposedly whats in this one will match my transmission. Not sure I mentioned it, but the previous owner bought this car just for the working transmission in it, he took it out and gave me his old broken transmission. Whats cool it, the broken one I got seems fine, no metal parts floating around it it. It'll be good, just replace the clutches and bands and seals and it'll be good as new. It was simply slipping. Glad he didn't blow it up!

But here's the trasaxle I'll be opening up today.

Well, there it is, all cracked open. The previous owner mentioned to me that he had not reinstalled the chain. So now I gotta figure out if anything is wrong, and how to get'r back together. yay me
