I went to look at mine and have no such setting. Then I read your post a bit closer. I have never done the updates after 2.20. I do not have that and therefore cannot help. I also checked the manual and saw no entry for that setting. Sorry, no help
I did a reset on my 93sv after an update. Everything seems to be better but i found a new setting that i did not have before. It is a tilt setting for the panoptix under the sonar setup tab. when it reset, it set it to a tilt of over 47 degrees. it made everything so crooked on the screen i could not tell where my bait was. i changed it to around 20 and its much better. just wondered if anyone else has seen this setting and if you had any comments or suggestions.. i was in 32 ft of water. i normally fish in less than 20 most often

I thought the "update" was for the Perspective View system ... but, I'm not sure what a tilt angle setting would be used for, even in that case (at least not THAT steep an angle change) ??
The only thing I wanted out of that update was the on-screen boat icon showing the scan direction of the transducer, so I don't have to keep one eye on the screen, one eye on the trolling motor direction arrow, and one eye on my line
Notice the icon in the upper right corner of this screen picture :
I was hoping it was already there, but it is not ... until you do the update.
its a setting under ADHS.. if you turn the ADHS off it gives you a tilt option.. I got an answer on a facebook garmin group.. thanks
