Well we found the lost motor this morning with sonar and took a grabbling hook and retrieved it from the lake. Thank everyone that has give us ideas and setting to help find it. A Friend of mine had a 7" Helix si chirp 2nd Gen. that made this picture and way point to find it. Will show pictures of what the 25 hp 4 stroke evindrude looked like at the bottom of the lake. I would also like to say that if anyone ever has to retrieve a motor take plenty of help because they are very very heavy to get off the bottom. If you look right above the prop you can see the little square battery that showed up best to let us know this was the motor. The owner is headed to the boat motor shop to have it fixed. I will let everyone know how that goes later also. If anyone has a boat motor that is not bolted to the transom please drill the holes and bolt it as the little screw clamps will not hold it secure enough. No one was hurt from this motor this time coming off but a few years ago a girl lost her arm from a motor that come off and flipped back it the boat.
