Best way to know is drop a jig and see what comes up. That's a sure way to know.

You also may want to manually adjust your depth closer to the depth of the water you are scanning, objects will be much larger and eaiser to idenify.

Great tip!!! I didn’t know that. So if I’m scanning around 20’ of water, I need to change the depth to around 25’ or so??
