Wow! Great screen shot!
Laurel Hill Lake......300 acres.....used to be a great crappie lake 40 years back. It could not sustain its own crappie population....as even the bigger lakes in TN cant so TWRA has supplemental stockings in the big lakes....and many years ago TWRA stocked Laurel Hill with crappie. But for several decades now TWRA has gone with the decision to not restock Laurel Hill Lake with crappie. You could always catch some but it was not the place you would go to to catch crappie. Well that has changed.....they are making a big comeback as you can see from the sonar images.....and yes all of them are crappie. Found them all over the lake. I had a fun day of catching.

Good find, they cannot hide from the good electronics. White Crappie? No structure around? Fish fry in the future?

Black crappie....Im sure there are some white in there. I was trolling through some wood also....they were stacked on it too. Will probably start keeping some fish here in a few weeks.
