With the more expensive head units,I "think" you can use Active Caption and a smart phone to record to google play.On BBC in the Garmin sonar/GPS forums Lwinchester2 has recorded videos to Google play,lots of pages of live scope to read over there.

just a heads up there is a guy selling an adapter for ice fishing that will make your livescope be vertical instead of canted to one side. Selling them in the facebook Garmin Panoptix ice fishing group. Looks like a decent addition to view straight down. he has a waiting list going, cheap too $22

Does Garmin send someone along to set it up for you?, I know it can't be that clear just out of the box. just asking

I've got the head unit and love it. Haven't got the bread yet to get a livescope 'ducer, but it's on the to do list. I've always run hummingbird or lowrance. One day of using the Garmin, I'm a convert!

Oh and bflowers it was that clear out of the box. Auto settings were AMAZING. I've tweaked a bit but not that much.

How can you tell if the tree is under you or out X ft?
