Helix Mega DI
So I am wanting to upgrade my bow unit to a Mega DI unit, I have heard of a transducer upgrade from Humminbird. Is there a different transducer for the trolling motor capable of Mega ?
I know there was an upgrade from a compact to an HD at one point and time but did not know there was a specific ducer with Mega for the troller.

MEGA DI units come stock with the XM 9 MDI T transom type Dual Spectrum xducer ...
The TM version is XTM 9 MDI T ...(which is the same MEGA DI xducer in a TM puck housing) ...

XTM 9 MDI T will have extra shielding for possible RFI and most likely will have a shorter cable (15ft) ...

The puck style for TM definitely fits the barrel of the TM housing better than riggin up a mount for the transom style xducer ...
Extra shielding is a big plus also ...

Its not a upgrade ; just a swap from transom mount transducer to trolling motor mount transducer. I don't think there is an upgrade. I mailed mine in for swap 8 days ago; hope it gets here soon...
