Default Helix 10 Mega’s Frst Screenshot

Finally got out on the water with my new Helix 10 Mega. I was seeing some awesome fish shadows when I realized I couldn’t remember how to save screenshots! Thank goodness for cell service & YouTube! So this was the only interesting screenshot before my 6 yr old son decided he’d had enough & we called it a day.

And I welcome any adjustment input, so if you see something I should tweak, please sing out!

Anyway, more to come I’m sure, once our winds settle down a bit here in NW OK.

Open up your Chirp sweep frequency more - the unit can Chirp Mega from 1125-1300 kHz (1.125-1.3 MHz) and you'll get more range and sharper images.

    Looks good!~

Can you please explain what you're talking about for those of us who are technoligically challenged? I have a MEGA and I have no idea what you're talking about.

SETUP tab, scroll UP (instead of down - it's shorter), Chirp Configuration.

Need to be in Advanced mode (out of box default).

It's all in the newer manual, and you can download them off HB site - they also explain this in v1.35 and later software release notes.

You adjust the sliders for your upper & lower frequency ranges there.

    HTH.
