    Is it possible to do a recording of an area, then play back and screenshot specific areas from the recording?

    Yes sir ....the screenshots will be written to the same SD card that the Recording is playing back from ...

    You can even mark waypoints during the Recording playback ....such that those waypoints will be in the unit memory next time you fish the same water that the recording was made on ...

    Great info Rickie... Thank you.
    I have a question for you all: If you use HBPC for organizing waypoints can you retain shots and recordings by not overwriting data on SD card when downloading from HBPC back to SD card, and in turn back to unit (if possible)?

    On the SD card ...:

    ScreenShots are written to a folder labeled "SNAPSHOTS" ...

    Recordings are written to a folder labeled "RECORD" ...

    Nav data is written to a folder labeled "MATRIX" ...

    There should be no way for one type of data corrupting the data in the opposing folders ...
