    Default Garmin Echomap Plus 93sv?

Which transducer is best? I’ve read too much and I’m at a loss. I don’t want to give up a good down image because of SideVü. I’m mainly searching for crappie in 15 fow or less. Any help would be great. Thanks

the 93's came with the GT52 before all the litigation, etc. Then more recently a cv52. I have read many reports from "ifishinxs" over on bbc. He has both ducers, one each on his two units (I think 93's--non-plus btw). You should go over and look at his posts and see what someone has to say that actually has, and uses, both. Should hold much more weight than someone like myself that has not. If you can't find what I am referencing I will copy for you. The cv blending for dv is not so different than HB with some of their units. Rickie has posted some great pictorials showing how this can happen and the potential impacts. Good luck. Again, holler if you need help with the other posts. Now, if you are thinking you need a different model ducer, then I am of even less value to you

I ended up ordering the EchoMAP plus 93sv by itself. And then I also ordered the gt52 transducer. After all the reading you pointed me to it seemed to be the best all around for what I am doing. Thanks for the help!
