    Default 788 ci for Mapping

Im trying to use my 788 ci for just mapping on my console . I connected it to a battery while in the yard and it goes in the demo mode , will I have to connect a transducer to it for this to work . I have a navionics map card installed . How do I get this to work. Also I have a new lakemaster south card in my 998 , will this card work in the 788. Thanks in advance

Use the steps provided in this link to set your unit up to start in Normal without a xducer connected (the link title is not your issue but the steps involved are the same) ...

Also PLEASE remember to push the power button once & turn sonar OFF - this will keep from damaging the unit's sonar output section....
