Default Love it when I see this!

Pulled up on station....did a scan....and started casting. Pulled 8 KY bass out of that bunch before they dispersed. All cookie cutter KY bass 12-13 inches caught on UL using 2# test line....got to love the Helix Mega. A great tool to have. Name: IMG_1506559566.955470.jpg

Those things pull like a tug boat. Lots of fun.

Is there something off to the side that's not showing up that holds fish in that spot?

There is something off to the side.....but that stretch of river bank is pure sand for about a mile. It is also the bottom of a ledge that drops from about 4 feet to 11-15 feet. It is my understanding come late October through December that stretch of sand will be stacked for the complete mile with Spots...Smallies......and white bass. I will certainly be keeping an eye on it.......LOL

Well, when they get stacked up, if you need some help fighting them off, I'm only a state away.

Thanks......the new base map is pretty good. I have never bought a map card as I would have to buy 2 to get the lakes I want. But I can get by with the new base map update......for a while anyway.....LOL.

Jeeze, when I opened the box, this Mega 9 is so much larger than my lowrance HD7 or the 2 elite 5’s I have. All I could say was WOW! Can’t wait to use it. Can’t put much more on this 1648 G3 Jon.
