    Default HB 596 melted SD card?!


    Anyone ever have this happen? 8gb Sandisk Microsd HC in an adapter. Finder wouldn't boot right so I took it out and it smelled burnt. Finder is ok and works with other SD cards, but afraid to try my other microsd cards and adapters.

    I don't know enough about the inner workings of a card reader to offer advice ...

    Doing some more research tells me it was likely a defective SD card and not related to HB.

    there's your problem, Samsung, their phones and washing machines blow up why not their SD cards!
