Those with the 73sv chirp, screen shots in SV
Can you post some Side imaging screen shots from your unit? Worked on 2D Saturday while on the lake and got it set up. Came out of SI in a HB and seemed to have been able to fine tune a little better in that unit.
Now working on SV
Can I see some SV shots to compare to what I was seeing on my 73?

interesting. I was having issues dialing it in and thought it was just me. The HB I had seemed to be able to fine tune better in SI. When the weather breaks I'm going to give her another try but may go back to HB in the Helix 7 SI G2....time will tell.

Todd also got with me and sent me some links. Yea a lot of folks here run HB, you and others put me on the 898 and 859 a few years back. Really enjoyed those units and helping others afterwords. Going out in the morning to work on it some more and will take notes and screen shots. We'll see how it goes

I have the 93sv Chirp. Still working on it myself though. I know they are capable of shots on par with HB but I haven't gotten it there yet.

MidMs I have written down some things I'm wanting to try tomorrow. Would say I had the HB SI shots in my mind from the past and figured that is what I'm used to. The 2D and DI on this unit is great though. These are what I was expecting in 2D for searching and jigging...hope to get a better grasp on the SV as well.

I totally agree. I have had HB DI and 2D before but this is my first SV so I am still working the learning curve. I have seen some side by side images on other forums and have an idea of what I am expecting to get it to. I have fooled with others but never owned one. Let me know how it goes. I'm always looking for advice on tuning.
