It will be interesting to see how 1200khz and trolling motor pulse modulation play together?

Glad to see the Helix 7's now can be networked....

Preliminary MSRP's I have seen are $1299 - 1699 and 2499 for each size MSI display.

    Might not
be a problem Robert, as the higher you go in frequency the least likely you are to have the voltage spike's harmonics replicate in higher multiples.
1.2 MHz would be less susceptible to RFI because the PWM circuits operate at a much lower frequency IMO.

    Time will tell!

Sounds good.hope your right, but the 800kHz ,for me was more of and issue with rf than all of the others

I agree, I've had a lot of issues with RFI on my Helix 12DI using anything over 455KHz.
I usually use 175-186KHz on 2D to avoid any noise.
But 1200KHz is an "odd" multiple so let's hope for the best.
I'm sure you'll have one long before I will, my budget is tapped out for the foreseeable future due to employer policy changes.
I'll keep playing the lottery though.

There's no mega on the di units.most likely a di unit would be used at the bow ,with the transducer mounted on the trolling motor. (Could be the reason for there not being mega)

Yep - the Mega SI units are thought to have a dedicated DI element for all 3 MSI sizes, Rickie & I had a discussion about that.
It seems they have 2 different XDCRs listed on HB's site - but Rickie's contact said there's only one.
Doug Vahrenberg is supposed to get some MSI XDCR pics up soon.

My contact said he will ask the engineers and get back with me ...

He did say the Mega xducer definately has a dedicated DI piezo ...

I will be glad when we have the rest of the valid info on the Mega xducer(s) ...
