Still havnt gotten to take the boat out yet. Work and weather. Navionics card have lakes on it? Is that what it is?
Yep, that added $100 plus dollars to the value. It gives you much more detail of the lake contours, etc.
Mark 1:17 ...I will make you fishers of men
Depending on how old the card is ... It may not be possible to update the card ...
I think the Navionics update cards didn't start until mid 2010 ...
You can contact Navionics with the info on the card to find out if it's eligible for the update program ...

Finally got the boat out. Very disappointed in the depth finders. The bow unit I couldn't see anything on except for some bait balls once in awhile. The screen was very dark on the brightest setting. It did show depth and water tempature very legable. The console unit was good except on side imaging the starboard side worked fine and the port side was so dark you couldn't see anything. I will mess with them some more when I go back out again. But it might be time to buy new units when I get the cash. Fishing was poor as well. The boat started right up and ran fine tho. And the trolling motor and everything else worked great.
on the side imaging, if the transducer is mounted on sbd side the motor may be blocking the signal to the port side... might help also if you go to humminbird website then to support tab then product manuals, you can then pick your unit and download manual
