Yes. If I'm wearing polarized sunglasses it's very hard to see the si/di and 360 views. Also, (imo) there's no comparison. My 998,has much better si.
Do any of u Onix owners find the si and di screens to be pretty dim in full sun. All others are fine. I asked this question in another forum and got no replies so......
Thanks
Greg

Thanks for the reply. How do they look to u if u happen to not be wearing sunglasses. Also still liking the rhodan? I really am enjoying mine!
Greg
While not wearing sunglasses and in bright sun light. It does OK. I'm almost, always standing. If the sun shines directly on the screen. I usually just use my shadow to block the sun. (me and the Rhodan are getting along just fine.) I've got one issue, that I'll post in the Rhodan thread.
I try to remember to wear a dark shirt and adjust ONIX to show my shirt reflection in the display ...
I agree with kos ... I like SI in my older model better (1197) ...
On another note ... ONIX DI is amazing ...

Thanks for the reply. I will remember the dark shirt tip! Yes the di is pretty good!

I think we are going to be seeing a new one with the bright screens like the new Helix series.

That would be a slap in the face to those of us that payed top dollar for a new onix. But that has been the game for years. Thanks for your warning!!
Redge LIKED above post
Just speculation on my part ......but you are correct. With electronics you can always figure what you buy will be an obsolete product before too long .... Otherwise there would never be any innovations.
