Thread: Best si unit?

i recently placed my order on a HDS 7 touch unit at universalmania for less than $1067. thats the one with the structure scan. ofcourse mounting hardware will bring up the cost. You can also get the humminbird 899si for alittle under $900.

I have the 899 and got it for under $900 and it is a great side scan unit that wont break your checkbook! The screen is large enough to see clearly anytime of the day and the support for Humminbird is awesome!

SI Humminbird,899 probably best in your price range. If your more into DI then the Lowrance HDS unit is going to probably give you the best picture. Just got a sale flyer from BassPro today. They show the HDS7 LSS2 bundle for 899.0 and i think Cabelas has a similar sale going. Like Pappy said, call Brian at BBGmarine He can usually meet or beat most prices and customer service cant be beat.
