    Hey guys I'm fixing to get a new unit looking at 1199 or onix 10 what is y'all's take on this? Can't find a lot about the onix 10 from what I understand though I won't be able to conect to my 998s that I already have. I hate not being able to share waypoints from console to bow. If I go with the 1199 I will prob get the 360 for the front what do yall think would be better?

    Onix will not Ethernet to core units ...

    xx9 series core units will most likely be around for another year or so (with free updates for several years after that)...

    Onix is cool (with the added features) but compatibility with your near future plans have to be considered ...

    I think you should get one of the new Onix NT units so we can get some reports on it...

    Not being able to share waypoints between units is a bummer.....There was some talk for a while that they might consider doing this, but I haven't seen any indication of it lately.
    You can always move them with an SD card, but that is a real hassle if you mark a new one at the console and move to the bow and want to see it.

    The nt is the one I was looking at like u say I hate not being able to share way points but I hate to buy something that is fixing to be outdated also

    I agree, I bought a 1197 on a big sale when the 1198's were coming out......wish I hadn't done that
