I didn't break the axle, but I did bend a wheel and blow out a tire. It racked the trailer so bad that when I pulled it to the marina to unload the boat to get another trailer that I drove with the truck tires on the double yellow line in the left lane and the back of the boat was over the gutter in the right lane. People in cars I met were looking at me like I had three eyes when they passed by. It took three try's and almost all the ramp at KY Dam Marina to get the boat in the water . $1140 and some bruised pride later all was well.
