    You do know that there's a little bit of lag time, between seeing the 2d lines move and your reaction time to set the hook (when you're not watching rod or line) ... and that lag time gets a little longer, and our reaction time a little slower, as we get "older" !!

    The 3 sonar technologies (2d/DI/SI)...are just like screwdrivers....

    All 3 are "tools" used for the same basic principle....

    But each tool is best suited for its own "specific task" at hand...

    And none of the 3 can perform that "specific task" as well as the other tool that is best suited for that task...

    I wouldn't want to be a electrician going to work with only 1 flat blade screwdriver...
