    Does anyone know if the new HB units with internal antenna have the heading sensor antenna or the standard antenna

    The internal antenna is reported to be a standard 56 channel receiver...

    The AS GPS HS antenna is an accessory item....purchased separately...

    So if I'm understanding this correctly the AS GPS HS antenna has to be added in order to avoid the donut at slow speeds and will work with any of the GPS (combo) units

    The AS GPS HS antenna will work with any of the 700/800/900/1100 series Combo units that can use version 6.570 or higher software...

    Correct...no donut with the AS GPS HS antenna...even sitting stationary...

    It’s a round circle shape that the unit uses whenever it cannot reliably calculate the movement direction of the boat. It is shaped like a donut (round circle).
