Slabback ,i agree that many times they look like leaves on tree,i think each lake can be different and how cold it gets,last year don g and me went to one bp and saw fish all over it and caught 92 off it and all were 10 to 14 inches,we left them bitting,threw all back and while leaving went back over with si and they still there but tighter and little deeper
