So you have to modify a transducer to get good DI results? Spend an extra 300 to get proper DI, so that gets a bit expensive.

kosmo I noticed speed 1-2mph in reference to the DI shots. What was your scroll speed? Some of those fish are stacked in there like cord wood

As much testing you do on the water and checking things out for us...Do you ever get a chance to fish???

my scroll speed is set to the default setting of 5 in all of thoses pictures.to tell the truth i dont use the di enough to no how the speed affects it while using the rotated transducer. I noticed the other day that i really didnt have many pictures using the rotated transducer so i thought id take some pictures so i could post to use to compare to the ones that i posted with the di transducer.all of those picturers came from the trolling motor.when i get a chance ill post some shots from the cosole unit with the outboard running..(no problem,i catch a few fish. The water is my back yard)

I was going to ask if you actually fish or drive around capturing images. :-)
