Got it back together and tested it today. Here was a few shots I got and found a few more fishing spots.

kosmo I'm pretty sure those were inverse, One of the members gave me a tip on it in reference to really picking out the fish...think he may be onto something. Too new to the unit at this time to give a favorite. 4-5 times I think.

Heading back out in the morning and hitting those two fall downs with standing around it. Thats a pretty steep drop on that bank were they are at. Just went today to test the remount.

I like that also. How checking your settings on contrast and such and posting them if you don't mind. My tired eyes have a hard time picking out the fish.

today I did something I said I could never see myself doing...went to the lake with no poles just to test the unit and play with the setting...I see this They were a ton of fish on those two spots. ooh well, I think I have the SI down to where I like it. next time I'm going to work on the DI settings but I will not leave the POLES

I made several passes on the bridge looking at it in different color pallets along with sen. and con. to see what worked best for me. Alot of the guys say sharp off but I want to see the fish. Nothing wrong with their settings, its what they like and thats all that matters in the end.

I did find that the deeper I went or the harder the bottom / softer the bottom I would go up or down some in sen. to give a better screen. Then I would go into con. to bring it out even more. I'll get some shots tomorrow with this info showing and post it for you. IMO I would use this as a starting point and adjust to your taste. When I first got it I found that I would go into SI DI and 2D and play with all. Now I see that it would have been better to pick one...learn it and move to the next. I'll get that info for ya

Great shots! Those are some of the cleanest HB shots I've seen.

I'm curious about the range lines on the si. Bottom pic seems to be right on with the indicated depth matching the range lines, but the next one up shows a depth of 50' while the range lines indicate about 30'. Pic #2 has some discrepancy, but not as much as the third. I always go with the range lines, but I know a lot of guys complain about the depth readings jumping around.

Beautiful pix, by the way! Thanks for posting
