Rickie,
my thoughts exactly, often I try and fish on the top of a tree and then only staying above the top limbs,
maybe you could post about how to work a large area like this one, or imagine it in it's side,

last thought, I see how they stack up, if you catch a few, then it stops, stay there and fish deeper

it is so hard to hold on an exact spot. how accurate are the trolling mtrs that will do it? 5 ft?
Rickie.
another last thought,
those may be bass in that tree.
they are strong returns on a large image. what do you think?
Yeah, or move off for awhile & come back to it.
I'll tell you how I'd fish it .... weedless jighead/plastic stinger grub - swim the jig at 8', 10', 12', & 15' depth levels - then Vertical Cast the jig, dropping it down to ~25' & bring it up through the tree branches.
Unless they're holding to the cover as tight as a tick, they'll likely move a few feet up or to the side to grab a bait. But, with them being in the upper reaches of that tree, I don't think they're holding "tight" (as in burying themselves into the heaviest portion).
And if they are Bass .... you'll likely know on the first cast. With approx. 20 of them suspended over that tree, you'll get a reaction from one of them ... out of sheer competitiveness between them.

Bouy marker up wind and a foot control on a slow speed cutting off and on with you lining up to the marker.spot lock moves too much unless you are using minnows which I never do. Cast to them with count down and reel slow enough that your bait stay the same depth, then get over them and look for higestspot

Crappiepappy and genec said it all, combine there post and pull them out. When they do stop remember the depth and type area you found these. Mark your chart to just hit this depth area and go find them again.
After finding two or three holes, you can then go back and pull a few more of each. Keeps you from running the lake all day and fishing unproductive water.
