Pretty Cool!! And a good image of the boat .
Not to stir the pot or anything, but one has to wonder: Would it have taken 19 days to find this boat if they had used a Humminbird to look?
Just sayin'
Nice try, Vic .... but, it was the Dive Team that searched that long for the boat, and no reference was made as to what, if any, electronics unit was used by them. The Lowrance HDS unit, that found the boat, was being used by boaters not connected to the Dive Team. They likely just gave the location to the Dive Team ... though the article did not specify "how" they "marked" the spot where the boat was (GPS coords or dropped marker buoy ??)
The picture of the HDS10 screen, showing the boat, appears to be a camera pic & not a screenshot. A screenshot would not have reflections, smudges, or other types of interference showing ... like a camera photo might.
So, you can take your spoon out of the pot ... no further "stirring" necessary

Here's the story from the man that found it...
Second pass - just under 10minutes...
