Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but if you are recording, the snapshot feature will not work, so there will be no .png files on the card.

Correct...a snapshot cannot be taken during the process of making a recording because the "write" function of the unit is busy "writing" the recording data to the SD card...

(Snapshots can be taken during "playback" of a recording)...

You can use the HumminbirdPC program to manage your waypoints, routes and tracks. It is not capable of viewing the Screen Snapshots or Sonar Recordings though.

Wow, how about one unified program that will let me see what I've recorded, easily edit it, create routes, delete bad way pts ?
I assumed HB pc would do it all since it's there product and they want customers to be happy and active using their product.
and then buy another one
