    its nothing to do with the pins. or at least thats not what happens to mine.this same thing happens to mine or something similar any how.ive had mine not show a gps option in the network tab and also i have had mine not to show gr-50 .i havenot had to do a reinstall thou. not real sure how i got it to work.wish i could be better help

    Kyrich... Do you have more than 1 unit networked together...??

    If so... Have you tried disconnecting the Ethernet cables and hooking the AS GPS HS to each separate head unit to see if each unit will recognise the HS antenna...

    It kinda sounds more like an Ethernet problem than an antenna problem..

    What software are you running in the 788ci HD DI unit and the 998c Si unit?

    Does the GPS-HS show up in the Accessory Test View of the 788ci HD DI unit?

    Called humminbird and they said send it in.......................this is the same unit that i lost my snapshots on when i update to 6.590...they said send the sd card and unit in.
