HDS 8 Gen 2 with LSS 2 centered below the step of a Triton 186
This is one of my favorites so far. It shows bass (verified by catching) attacking shad on a creek channel break at Lake of Egypt a power plant cooling lake in southern Illinois. The shad are probably all small threadfin which maintain a population there because of the warm water.
It show bass above the shad diving down and bass below the shad on the break waiting for something to happen. Could they be working as a team, with the bass circling above working in concert with those below? I don't really know. What I do know now is that I am seeing a lot of bass diving down into schools of shad, when I used to think they always came up.
