    Yep. I almost forgot. This is when billybob, you and I were comparing the HDS8 and HB997 after putting out the coffee cans. Right? I believe we had a hard time with HB997DI. If I remember right, we had stuff marked with buoys, so no doubt about the results.

    Yep, and the HDS8 did get better shots..Was this when you first did the overlay or was that on a later trip..I really like the overlay feature

    If you are referencing the pics of the dual pvc trees, then look at the 2d view. The yellow hit near the center of the pvc is baitfish, and the white dots around the bait are the fish. The white dots are the DI overlay, which really helps identify the fish in the 2d image.

    Cane Pole, I am new to DI/SI but a lot of people have told me that PCV is visible to fishfinders. I guess it really isn't to a point. How do yall feel? I will be in the market for a HB 898 soon.
