I have not tried cranks for Crappie yet. However, i noticed your Proangler link on your message. Do you use their rods? If so, how do they hold up?
For those that push cranks, do you find a magical water temp in the spring that you really start catching fish or do you troll year round?

Yes my Partner( Paul O'Bier) and I designed the poles. They hold up very well. We are running a special on the 10' @ $25 each.
Try one, I think you will like them.
Thanks, Jerry

I got one of the 10 ' and one of the 8' the other day. I really like them. I wanted to test one before i bought several. I have been talking them up on the web site here. Are u trolling , spiderrigging or other if i may ask?

Make sure your lake has white crappie. For some reason the black crappie just aren't nearly as keen to them as the white's.
