I fish muddy water quite a bit in the spring, I go to a larger bait like the large Rocky Top jigs and slow down my presentation and fish tight to cover.

I'd go with Lake O' The Pines. It has it all and plenty of big Crappie. I prefer to fish the standing timber for the big fish.
