The warm water is in the coves where i told you about.The fish are there.Not in big numbers yet but they are there.

Try the cove by the picnic area & crossroads villiage.Are you on shore or in a boat?

I was in the main lake,the river is running way to fast,even the lower end of the lake has a rippin current right now.

Fished Mott today for a few hours.Took awhile to find the warmer water,finally found a couple spots with 48.5 & 50 degree water.Main lake temp was 42.Ended up with 1 crappie(missed 3 others) & 2...

I don't know about the 36 but on my 55 if you take the screw out on the control head you can spin the head 180 degrees.This does what you want,we do it so we can backtroll against the river...

Fished Mott the other day,nothin,not even a bump.There was still ice in the southern bays.Went up the river & the current was rippin.Will be back out this weekend,hopefully the rain will help.

Secord & Wixom are on my list this year.Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Not into the steelies anymore,used to fish for them when i lived in Oscoda,but will be out sucker fishin soon.
