That's pretty normal here in N FL...setting time for the hens. They aren't too social right now. Gobblers can move around farther looking for receptive hens. Not always though, some do some wont.

Fo sho. Luckily the local plantations all around me have eradicated ol Hernando's vermin from these parts. Coyotes too....nutn gonna be messing with the quails cept the $3000 a day city slickers :)
