I’ve tried probably every line on the market over the years. To me you can’t beat Nanofil for castability on spinning reels. Plus it’s a superline with small diameter and toughness.

I like to use swivels when tying on a leader. A couple of small tungsten weights above and it’s great for live scoping. Makes it very easy to see your line!

I don’t have a favorite color. I choose according to the conditions in most cases. That seems to work best for me.

I really like ACC rods but they are brittle and sensitive.
